What I have been up to since the summer of 1970....

Elyse Camozzo is a suburban mom who believes that "Busy Hands are Happy Hands". Her work in Tizio & Honking Goose reflects influences from her family's homes in Venice, Italy, and Tilghman, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. When she is not faux finishing and Venetian plastering, she makes unique beaded jewelry and paints furnishings and accessories for the home.

Elyse has been creating beautiful homes in the Washington DC Metro area since 1992, when she made a career change from corporate publications to decorative painting, at that time specializing in faux marble. Since then, Elyse has absorbed many other techniques -- through artists workshops, research abroad and coursework at the Society of Decorative Painters -- and all can be used on walls or furnishings. Her current clients enjoy the way she combines stencils with Venetian plaster and a faux finish.
