| What I have
been up to since the summer of 1970....
Some of you know the story;
Frank has been in Love with Devils Tower, Wyoming since his
1st trip here in 1972 (when he hitch-hiked across the country
to come climbing on this amazing Devils Tower). He became a
Wyoming Resident in 1976 and ever since, he has been under the
spell of the 'Power of Devils Tower".
He is the Gracious and Happy Host of the Devils Tower Lodge,
a unique Wyoming Bed and Breakfast which has been his Dream
for decades. With Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Biology and
a Bachelors in Education, he has worked in Public School Teaching
& Civil Engineering and will Joyously discuss the flora
and fauna and geology of Wyoming with You !! He is surely the
areas greatest resource on Devils Tower climbing, as he has
Topped the Tower nearly 1000 times (which is pathologically
more than anyone else). He also enjoys a wealth of knowledge
of the Devils Tower National Monument, this corner of Wyoming
and its rich cultural history, which will make Your Wyoming
Bed and Breakfast visit and Devils Tower climbing experience
a very special one. He also waits patiently at the piano, to
play a duet or two with You.
Frank is Living out his Dreams. His greatest satisfaction comes
from helping others Enjoy and Enrich their Lives. He realizes
that the routine of everyday Life takes something away from
the Human Spirit. He Lives out his Dreams by providing a secluded
Wyoming
Bed & Breakfast retreat where guests can use the Power
of Devils Tower to revitalize their Soul. He is always happy
when climbing, but truly joyous watching Lives change for the
Larger and Better.
Frank has climbed all across this country and the next two...and
still is NOT dead, yet (he says).
He has been in business there for 7 years, with his 8th season
bearing down on him he wants us to know..... that he is still
single and looking for that "Right Person" to be his
Lodge Hostess for this season ...just
write him. He is still playing piano at restaurants (now
who would have guessed) and is going to cut his 1st CD before
the month is over.
At 55 years of young, he has topped this Tower 1,000+ times
and even climbed it 16 times in a day just last June 12....This
year,(of course fearing that the inevitable summer will come,
where he can't do what he did the summer before) he plans to
start, on June 1,2007, "A Year of Climbing". Frank
will dedicate one year (365) to climbing on this Tower, attempting
to see how many summits, climbs, days, and people he can climb.
Frank also has a "not-for-profit" company, anybody
can contribute $$$. The funds will be directed to several agencies,
already in place, at the nearby Native American Reservations,
who help with Native American Diabetes, Pre-Natal Care, and
Drug & Alcohol dependency. It will be an exciting year,
one way or the other. He has never tried anything like this
before !!!!!
