What I have been up to since the summer of 1970....

Many of you already know what I have been doing since 1970:-)

It has been so worthwhile for me to Chair all 6 of our Reunions over the last 35 years. The committee, always changing, is the reason our reunions succeed as they do.

I settled in Bethesda, in Bannockburn, about 18 years ago. I am divorced from Mindy Montgomery, from the Class of '72, who remains my close friend, and co-parent. My son Brian just completed his junior year at Whitman. Being Viking parents has been so much fun for us!

I have owned a small custom hardwood flooring firm for 25 years. Much of my passion , though, involves saltwater fishing, scuba diving, travel, hotels, restaurants, marine biology, and writing about them. I have been a free-lance journalist, for over 15 years, focusing on the mid-Atlantic, Hatteras Island, and tropical venues like Abaco, Bahamas, and the Caribbean. I published a small, personal magazine collection of 22 Hatteras Island features a few years ago. (A Pulitzer did not come my way:-)
